- Need blind
- Admissions decisions made without reference to a student’s financial aid request, that is, an applicant’s financial need is not known to the committee at the time of decision.
- Needs Based Financial Aid
- Needs based financial aid is available to college students who require additional financial assistance. Factors such as their income and assets plus the income and asset of their family determine eligibility and amounts.
- Non-matriculated
- A student who has either not been admitted yet but is taking classes or has been academically dismissed. Under this category, a student may neither receive financial aid nor participate in an athletic program at that school.
- Nursing Student Loan (NSL)
- This is a low interest loan program administered by the US Department of
Health and Human Services (HHS) available to students enrolled in nursing
programs. This is a federal aid program.
